Hi everyone!!!! Here's chapter 5 of Star Princess. BTW, if you're wondering about who Naoko Takeuchi is, she's the person who created an AWESOME Japanese anime (cartoon) series called Sailor Moon. I hope you like it!!!

STAR PRINCESS

Chapter 5

As Seira was about to walk out the door to school, she called to her mom, "Mom, I'm going." Her mother just nodded, too deep in her own thoughts.

*******************

When Seira got to her classroom, her friend (who sat next to her) Bunny said "Hi Seira!" "Hi." Seira replied. "Family problems, eh?" Bunny (who had her hair up in buns with long pigtails coming from them.) said "Yeah." Seira mumbled. "Ugh, look at this," Bunny grumbled." Those stupid Bakugan people copied Sailor Moon." She held up a paper thing she had made comparing Sailor Moon to some Bakuwhachamacallit named Elfim. "See that? If Naoko Takeuchi finds out about this, those Bakugans are gonna' be in BIG trouble." Bunny said. By the way, Bunny was an avid "moonie", or fan of Sailor Moon, so she knows about stuff like this.
Seira said, "Hey, you're right, those guys ripped off Sailor Moon." Seira then turned to her book, Star Princess, and finished the chapter she was on. "Huh?" Seira mumbled when she turned the page, for this is what it said:

The story has gone beyond control due to outside forces. You must write a new ending to rescue your friend Hime, "Oh, no, Hime!!!" Seira cried in her mind. But she put that aside, for she had a story to finish, for her friend's life might depend on it.

****************************

Hime finally found her way out of the night forest. She found herself near a freshwater beach, so she had a long drink. Then she remembered something "The star spirits!!!" Hime cried. She then chanted the mighty spell that would release the spirits of the stars from her ring: "O, ring which hides the power of the stars, I command you to release the many spirits of the stars, in the name of queen Adromeda. RELEASE!!!!!!"
After that last word, there was a bright light coming from the ring, and from that light emerged all 12 star spirits: Capricorn, Aquarius, Saggitarious, Virgo, Leo, Taurus, Pisces, Scorpio, Aries, Libra, Cancer, and Gemini, all of which looked like chibi people with animal-like qualitys. Capricorn, a small girl with a fish tail and goat ears and horns, Aquarius, a small boy holding a water jug, Saggitarius, a teeny-tiny centaur, Virgo, a little girl wearing flowers, and so on and so forth. "Hi guys, want a drink?" Hime said, "Hai!!!!" all of the cute little spirits said. All of them went toward the water, but before she went, Libra, a small girl holding a pair of scales, told Hime: "You have to do two things to save the story: First, Trust your friend Seira. Second, look for the three element guardian spirits." Then she went off to the water.

Hey guys! I have an idea for a story, tell me if you think it's any good. It would be about a girl who never really fitted in even though she pretended like she did and always wanted to be normal. Then one day she finds out that her parents signed the next ten years of her life away to the circus that was travelling through town. Do you think that it would be any good?

OK, so since you said she was Japanese I put in a few words. They're pretty simple, night, bright, luck, toughs types of things. Anyway, I can't wait to hear chapter five!

STAR PRINCESS

Chapter Four: I Promise

Evan's light went out at the sight of the monster. Rybin quickly changed back into a shimmer. Hime seamed to be the only one that didn't know what to do. Think, what monster of the night is this? she thought. It was to be shadow, and it's teeth were too sharp to be KazeteiSei's, the whisper. What was the other one's name? Was there another monster? She couldn't think straight when she had to dodge giant hands. "Hime, do something!" screeched Evan. Without her light she was just as dark as the forest that surrounded her. "Like WHAT?!?!?" Did she really expect Hime to just waltz into a different story and know everything about TWO worlds? "Yooouu knnnoww thissss." said the faint shimmer that was Rybin. His reassuring voice calmed her, just nough to remember what to do. Running as fast as she could, she went in the opposite direction of the beast. Sure enough it followed her, leaving Evan and Rybin alone. Monsters of the night were strong, but they couldn't move very quickly. Still, she had about half a minute at best.
She dug ferociously at the roots of the trees. She found a taiyou-yoru stone (all trees needed light no matter which world you are in, and since the light didn't come from above in the night forest, it came from below). Taping it to Tishiar once she was blinded even when she closed her eyes. When she could finally open them, all she could see that was left of the Night monster were his glowing eyes. Shaking, she turned away. She looked around and saw Evan's glow in the distance. "Good Luck Reader. May Ten'un be with you always. I would, but I'm very busy at this point in the story. I hope you find the next chapter soon. Adiosu!" and with that she dissolved into the darkness. "Thheee jeeewwellssss of thheee sssskky arrrre wiiitth youuu, Hime. Evannn is right, wee ccann heelpp youuu noo furrrttheeerr." All alone in the night forest, she realized the first thing that she wanted to do: get out. As she made her way towards the only Star that shone, Akarui, she almost thought she saw the face of her friend Seira in the sky sighing, but then she was gone. I'll be back soon, Seira, I promise.

Hi everyone!!! Here's chapter two of Star Princess. Just a little note, Hime's name is pronouced Hee-meh Ho-shee-no, the new characters which will appear in this chapter names are pronouced (?) as Seh-ee-ruh, and Saah-raah. BTW, Hime is from Tokyo, Japan, so she's Japanese. I forgot to mention this before, so I thought I'd mention it now. So she'll use some Japanese language things which the other characters don't use. Also, when said in the Japanese order, her name is a pun on the phrase "Hoshi no Hime" which means "Princess of Stars". Anyway, let's get on to chapter 3!

STAR PRINCESS

Chapter 3

Hime followed Evan and Rybin through the forest. As she followed them, a question came into her mind. "Ne, Evan-san, Rybin-san, HOW was the ending off the book taken away?" "Well," Evan began." She somehow was heart-broken, upset, and angry at something, and took it all out on the book. She crossed out the name of the character that's missing on all of the pages after the point she got to and ripped out the last pages and burned them, thus causing the major problems that we have." "So all we have to do is find the character that's missing, and rewrite the ending, ne?" Hime said. "It's not that simple-" Rybin began, but he was cut off when a monster appeared from the bushes.

************************

Seira sat down at her desk, and began to read her book. Her father was killed in an accident, and although she managed to move on, her mother and sister hadn't. Her mother zoned out from the trauma alot, sometimes seeming to be reading but really staring at her these two pages without turning them, not even reading. Her sister, meanwhile, had literally "gone black". She dyed her hair black, wore black clothes, and made everything black. To add to the problems, Seira's sister, Sara, had just been spitefully dumped by her boyfriend. Seira, meanwhile, had other problems. Her "e-mail pal" Hime Hoshino, had dissapeared. Even though she lived in New York, Seira knew something was wrong when she didn't get an e-mail from Hime. As Seira turned to her book, Star Princess, she picked it up and began to read. She had just begun part two and was on her latest bit: "It's not that simple-" Rybin began, but he was cut off when a monster appeared from the bushes. "Seira?" a voice called.
Seira turned around, and saw her sister at her door. "Hello, Sara."
Seira replied. "Just to let you know, I'm going out later. See ya!" Sara said. "Okay." Seira said, as she went back to Star Princess.

*********************

Sara went back to her room, where a very ancient looking book sat waiting. The book was one of the two true, magic copies of Star Princess, which controlled the actual world behind it. Inside, a certain character's name was crossed out many times, and the ending was torn out. Sara had taken the anger and grief from her father and her boyfriend out on this copy. For she was the one who messed everything up. "The last page of the fairytale is rewritten, changed into a tragedy...." She recited, reciting lines from a song she heard called Return to the Sea, as she began vandalising Star Princess again. But little did she know that there was a hidden, third true-magic copy of Star Princess, and it was in Seira's hands..........

SORAYA'S GENIE

Chapter Two: To Save an Old Man

That morning as all of them before Soraya woke to the light of the morning sun and sound of the morning prayers. That morning as all of them before, Soraya went straight to the weaving room, where looms, large and small hung from the ceiling, just begging her to prove the greatness of her beautiful craft. Settling down on the floor, Soraya chose a light blue to get started. In, out, in , out, over, loop, under twirl… she often thought like this when she was weaving, but Soraya more often thought of other things, real things, like she was thinking of today.
Though Soraya wasn’t sure about the previous night. Now her future in a bottle seamed so uncertain. Yes, my Genie is out there, but is still planning on keeping my world and heart in the shadows of a moonless night? Or shall he come and rain with a thousand joyous rays as he has promised me so many times before? No, thought Soraya. No, I mustn’t question things I know but fragments of. He shall come, he shall, I have but only be patient.
Satisfied, her thoughts went back to her weaving. Soon, however, she was interrupted again, this time though it was not her thoughts that stopped her fingers. It was an old man peering through the large window where many came to marvel at her rugs, dresses, and other weaved wonders. Putting on her smile as she often did for anyone who peered through (why worry about having to smile all the time when she already had to worry about her weaving?) the window.
Soraya, a clever girl, soon noticed that the man seemed not to be looking at the work she was doing but instead eyeing a nearby finished one with a sad, sorry eyes. Glancing down at his pocket, he began to walk away. Getting up from the loom, Soraya opened the window.
“Old man,” she said. “why is it that your face bears the frown of one who has seen his crops go sour?”
“Nothing my fair lady.” He said in a wrinkled voice. His wrinkled face going into a smile. It was a nice smile, Soraya thought. “Nothing to be of importance to any one all blessed as yourself. Please excuse a poor old man for thinking he was good enough to buy one of your fine art works.”
“Old man, is that the reason you fled my humble shop? Never is that the case for anyone, for my works are only as good as the person who buys, and you sir, have a history to tell. That is much more then most.”
“Oh, kind child, you do flatter me so. I history, yes indeed I do bear one of those, but history can not be exchanged with no money, which an poor old man like me has none of in times like this.”
“I’m sure an arrangement can be found.” Soraya would have given him all the tapestries she had on the spot, for once she was done weaving one they truly meant little to her, but knowing how it would displease her father so Soraya excused herself and went to seek even beg if I had to, to give one of them to this poor, kind old man.
“Father, oh my wise father.” Began Soraya. “Might you find it in you heart to give but one of our precious treasures that I do but spend moons and suns making with my own hands to a poor, kind old beggar?”
“My sweet daughter, why must you have such a heart? Truly it would not please me to see you give away what matters so much to you without money to by your fingers new thread. Nay, I shall not let you do such a disloyal crime to yourself.”
“Oh, father, kind misunderstanding father, I care only for the joy of the work to make my weavings. After they are done, they are only worth anything to you. Please father, do not be angered by the thought that I had to give up anything to make an old beggar man in joyous spirits.” Looking into his daughters eyes he could see truth, and thought he himself, a greedy but good man, was not happy to see a profit such as the old man picked out to go to waste, he was happy to see his Soraya smile as he headed away.
“Thank you, humble miss. You have just saved an old man from a fierce winter with your generosity. Truly though, I do hate to think that I made you give away a treasure as wondrous as this one away? Thinking again as I often do, I can not take such charity when I have nothing to give.”
“Give it a home, a place where it belongs. Treasure it as much as I treasure making his brothers for it is only the journey I care about, not the destination.”
“Then I shall bless this blanket with every thing I have left. Someday though, I do promise to return to favor, whether you take pleasure in it or not, for I am not on who enjoys swimming in a debt. Thank you greatly. My Ala put our paths together again sometime.” And with that, the old man left, knowing that the great master Soraya cared not for the riches of her art but truly for the people who held it.

THE TALE OF RODERIC WOODS

Chapter Seven

Why is HE here?” asked Charles.
“Just some school stuff that, um, well…” answered Tristan, thinking again about what happened.
“Whatever.” Charles pushed Roderic out of the way as he walked towards Tristan with his bow in hand. “Let’s go practice for the tournament. Henry and Weston are waiting.” As they walked silently towards the back of the field…silently that is, until Tristan noticed that Roderic had brought his bow and arrows.
“What are they for?” he said pointing.
“I told you how I thought that I could used Plato’s theory of Proje-” Roderic didn’t have time to finish. His brother’s head was hurting.
“Ya, ya, ya. But what are the arrows for?” Roderic was working hard not to laugh again. Tristan didn’t even know that much about his fake theory?
“I think I can hit the center.” He managed to say. Charles was the first to laugh. Tristan quickly followed his example.
“What’s so funny?” asked Henry who had run over to join the group with Weston.
“My brother here has been deleted into thinking that he can hold a bow!” chuckled Tristan.
“Even worse, he thinks he can hit the center!” added Charles. Now the others broke out laughing, too.
“I can, I really can.” Roderic said in his defense.
“Get real, sortie. You can’t even hold a sword!” Weston said.
“Holding a sword has nothing to do with archery.” Roderic pointed out. “I bet that I could even hit it from here.” Now they stopped laughing.
“Roderic, why don’t you go home?” said Tristan.
“Yeah, go home before you hurt yourself.” Said Henry.
“I will, I promise…if,” said Roderic “I can’t hit the center from here, then I’ll go and never come back.” They were all looking at him with smirks…except for Tristan. He looked…worried. Like part of him believed that his brother could do it.
“All right.” Said Charles. “All right, but if you can’t-”
“I promised.” Roderic’s voice was firm. As they all stepped out of the way, Roderic positioned his bow. The last thing he heard before he let it go was ‘How strange, he has both his eyes open…he’ll never make it.’ It didn’t matter who said this, though. For in the next second, his arrow had hit the center. Awa struck, they all dashed to see if it was true…except Tristan. He turned feebly to his brother, his cheeks white, and his face showing what was definitely fear.
“Where did you learn that?” he asked.
“You’d know if you ever listened to me.” Roderic’s face was grim. So was his brother’s. Finally, Tristan understood his plan.
“Whatever…” Tristan said as he ran to the others who were now running back with the arrow. They were holding it in both hands, as if that one arrow could solve all there problems, and it had for Roderic.
“Can you teach me that? The-the torments next week, and, well, um, we could split the prize money, and them,” Charles stopped and blushed. “and I could take the kiss from maiden Marry and, um…” His friends all groaned.
“Come on, let Roderic take the kiss. It would only be fair seeing as she’s half your age!” said Weston.
“He’s right, it’s disgusting.” Henry agreed.
“No, he can have maiden Marry…and the money, if he wins of course.” Said Roderic. All heads turned to him.
“That’s-that’s, well…thank you, Roderic.” Stammered Charles.
“It’s only fair,” Said Roderic. “because I’m not going to teach you.” Now Charles smiled vanished.
“Oh…well…that’s your decision…but I still wish that-”
“Sorry, I have a lot to do.” Roderic mounted Merlin. “But if you want to come the day before the tournament, we could practice. His face brightened a little.
“I will.” He said.
“Me too. I-I think it could be…useful, to do what you did.” Said Henry.
“Me too.” Said Weston.
“The more the merrier.” Said Roderic as he road off.
“Tristan, why can‘t you do that?” he heard Charles tease. As he looked back though, he could tell that his brother was thinking the same thing. Why can’t I be better then my baby brother? Roderic liked this thought. He liked it even better when he realized that Tristan couldn’t, not even if he tried.

Elizabeth, can you tell me what exactly you think is wrong? I really appreciate it that you told me you thought something was wrong, and I really want to fix it. I mean, how can I become a better writer if no one ever criticizes my work? Well, that's all. Thanks!

SNOW QUEST

Chapter Twelve: Tishium, the Light Sprite, not the Evil Witch

Then, she started laughing. Now, i was a little confused. "Oh-OH-oh, I'm sorry, but you should have seen your faces! I hate that story, but I suppose Thlile had to say something to keep people from coming in here!" she said, still chuckling. "Like I said, I'm glad you came. What happened to Thlile though? She used to come in here every now and then. Is she okay?" We were stunned. "So...your not a witch?" Kara's voice was shaking. "God heavens no, do I look like a witch? No, they're ugly, gruesome creatures they are." "Thlile's is not!" Kicki said immediately. "She's kind and sweet and-" "Oh, I know that. I'm sorry, I keep forgetting that she was a witch. Well, that story you told was nice dear, but would you perhaps like to hear the real tale?" she said looking at Kara, who nodded eagerly. Her brother grabbed her fiercely by the arm. "Kara!" he said pulling her to his face so they were eye to eye. Now, they weren't really talking, but I could understand it what they were saying, or thinking to each other. 'Kara, how do you know that we can trust her?!?' 'Kicki, you really have to listen to grandfathers stories!!! Only one who true in mind and heart came say Thlile's name!' 'Oh...right' Kicki looked really embarrassed, but he turned back to the lady with a smile. "We'd love to hear the real story." he said. "Oh, good, but not now. I don't know what time day and night is anymore, but this is when i go to bed normally...I think. At any rate, talking to someone besides yourself for the first time in thirty years can take a lot out of a person. Come my friends, I have plenty of room at my house...well, it's sort of a house...It's comfy and it's where I live so I guess that makes it a house, doesn't it? Oh!" she said turning around to face us as she walked. "I do believe I'm talking to myself again. I'm terribly sorry about that." Now we were coming to a bejeweled doorframe. "Come in, come in! Follow the hall on the left and go in the door that is made of rubies. Oh, but let's just get one thing straight before we say goodnight. My name is Trishium, and I'm a Light Sprite, not a witch. Well, goodnight Kicki! See you tomorrow Kara! And, oh, I seemed to have missed your name..." said Trishium pointing to me. "I-I'm Athili." I stampeded. Did Kicki and Kara even tell her their names? "Goodnight then, Athili." she said. "And please, do sleep well." Though she made it sound like his was a wish for all of us, she was only looking at me. As she skipped down the hallway, I turned to look at Kicki and Kara. "Did you-" "Tell her are names? No." said Kara. "I think she's to peppy." added Kicki. "Oh, be quiet." said Kara, smiling. "She say's 'Oh' too much." I said, just to see what would happen. We laughed and we all slept well. The silver Eagle didn't speak to me that night, but she did ink at me. I knew we were on the right track...

STAR PRINCESS

Chapter 2: Do What you Feel

Have you ever read a book so much that you fell in love with it on the first page? A book that seemed to be written just for you? That's just what happened to Hime. What comes next, she kept wondering. The story hadn't given her time to finish the book. Though she didn't know why, she knew that it had a happy ending. That was the only type of story that she liked, and since she loved her own life and her life had now become a book, she thought it made since for this story to have a happy ending, too.
Where is Evan, where's Rybin? she thought. It was dark in the night forest always (hence the name) so she couldn't see. Evan was a Star from so long ago that she had forgotten how to fly and so landed on the earth. Hating light as all stars do, she was overjoyed when she found the night forest and ever science gave light to any traveller who needed it. Rybin was, well, he was a name mostly. He often wandered around the roads and helped in anyway he could, and because he was all magic in the land he normally could help just about anyone. "Tishiar..." she said, patting the ring on her finger. That was it's name, Tishiar, and it was only ever to be worn when it was put on your finger by Rybin for all the ring was was a swirling band of his magic. He would be here soon, he had to be, or so the book had said. Just then, she heard a voice. "Hime? That is you, isn't it?" Turning around Hime saw that it was Evan. Of course she knew her, she was one of the main characters in this story. White hair, deep blue eyes that twinkled no matter what, a faint glow about her she looked just like any other star. "Evan!" she shouted as she ran up to her. After all, she already knew her. "Hime, oh Hime it is you! I'm so glad you finally came!" Now it was Rybin coming out of the bushes. He was in his usual form for meetings with humans, a big, shaggy wolf. "I'm not sure how I got here to be honest," said Hime. "I would have come right away if I knew there was trouble, but..." "We know you would have, and we're sorry we had to pull you here before you had a chance to finish the book, but it couldn't be helped." Evan looked at Rybin hesitantly as she said this. "Why?" "Well..."Evan started. "Don't worry, I'll tell her." said Rybin. "Long ago, when the first reader came here she accidently took something important back...she took the end of the story." "What? How could she do that when there is no pages to take here?" "Well, she took a person back. A very important person, and we can't tell you who yet." answered Evan. Not much of an answer, thought Hime. "The point is, your our first reader in years." continued Rybin. "This is where the person was stolen last time, and it's no us trying to get her back, but because she stole her out of the middle of the story we can't go on unless someone playes her role." "Forever?" "No, not forever. Just once, just once and then she will be able to find her own way back." said Evan. "Well, what do I need to do first?" "Tishiar will guide you without your knowing. Just do what you feel. Once the story is finished, you came go back." said Rybin. "Can I ever come back?" "We can only pull a person into the book once, and there is no way of knowing if you will ever be able to come back on your own accord, but you can be assured that you will be welcomed back with open arms." Evan said, smiling as she did. "We have to go play our parts now." said Rybin. "Good luck, young reader." Then without a word, they vanished into the night. Do what you feel, thought Hime. To save the story, just do what you feel. Why did that have to be so much easier to say then do?
